Smashed Brussels Sprouts

This smashed Brussel sprouts recipe comes together quickly for a dippable snack, appetizer, or side dish!



Ingredients

1-2lb Brussels Sprouts

Olive Oil or Avocado Oil

Salt & Pepper (to taste)

Ranch or Aioli (to dip)


Directions

  1. Wash and remove stems and wilted leaves from the Brussels sprouts.

  2. Steam the sprouts for about 5 to 10 minutes, or until they are fork-tender.

  3. Once they’re soft, use the bottom of a clean cup or glass to smash them into discs.

  4. On a baking sheet, lay out the “disc-shaped” sprouts, and drizzle with avocado oil.

  5. Season the sprouts with salt and pepper, and roast at 425 degrees fahrenheit for about 15 minutes, or until crispy.

  6. Serve with ranch dip or aioli!
